Howard W. Phillips, Jr., President
Was educated at Lehigh University. Mr. Phillips serves as President and has actively participated in the Agency since 1948.

Edward E. Bonifant, V.P.
Was educated at Mount St Mary’s College. Mr. Bonifant’s principal area of practice is Employee Benefits and the design of Life and Disability Income Insurance programs for business owners, executives and individuals. He has been with the Agency since 1987.

Michael A. Cauley, V.P.
Was educated at the University of Maryland. Mr. Cauley’s principal area of practice is Commercial Insurance for large corporations and national associations. Mr. Cauley has had the privilege of being a past president of the Metropolitan Washington Independent Insurance Agents Association, and has been with the Agency since 1989.

G.L. Jeffreys “Jeff” Greene, V.P.
Was educated at Hampden-Sydney College. Mr. Greene’s principal area of practice is commercial insurance, including Professional Liability. Mr. Greene is on the Board of Directors for The Metropolitan Washington Independent Insurance Agents”MWIIA” and manages the agency’s Personal Insurance Division, and has been with the Agency since 1996.

Louis T. Armelin, CPCU, CLU , ChFC
Was educated at Mount St. Mary’s College. Mr. Armelin is active in all types of commercial, personal and life insurance products. He served for many years as a director of the Metropolitan Washington Association of Independent Insurance Agents and the Washington, D.C. Chapter of the Society of Chartered Property and Casualty Insurance Agents. Mr. Armelin has been with the Agency since 1968.

Ali Movaghari, CIC
Was educated at Florida Atlantic University and George Mason University. Mr. Movaghari’s area of practice ranges from insuring high-value homes and high tech firms to placement of international insurance coverage. He has also developed insurance programs in the public transportation arena. Mr. Movaghari has been with the Agency since 1990.

John F. Reinhold
Was educated at Yale University. Mr. Reinhold brings 25 years of insurance experience to the agency specializing in celebrity liability coverage. Mr. Reinhold joined the Agency in 2003.

James P. “JP” Finlay III
Was educated at the University of Maryland and attended the prestigious Hartford School of Insurance where he earned the NCCI recognized designation Commercial Lines Coverage Specialist (CLCS). Mr. Finlay joined the Agency in 2003.

Charles Licameli
Was educated at Towson University.  Mr. Licameli’s principal area of practice is the design and implementation of Group Benefit and Retirement plans, as well as the design of individual strategies in the life, disability and financial services environment.  He is a registered representative of MML Investor Services Inc. and has been with the agency since 2004.

Gary Potts
Was educated at Towson University. Mr. Potts's principal area of practice is commercial insurance with a focus on contractors, wholesalers and manufacturers. Mr. Potts brings 22 years of insurance experience to the agency. He joined the agency in 2008.

Steve Bigelow
Mr Bigelow's principal area of practice is commercial insurance with a focus on construction trades. He has been in the insurance industry since 2002 after retiring from the Prince George's County Police force as a Commander with 22 years of service. He joined the agency in 2008.

Bill Wetmore, RHU, LTCP
Mr. Wetmore specializes in Long-Term Care planning and regularly conducts seminars on the subject for aging clients. He was selected for the “Nations Top 100 LTC Insurance Producers” list for 2003 at the National LTCI Producers Summit. He has 15 years of long-term care insurance experience and has been associated with the Agency since 2001.

Michael W. Dean
Was educated at La Salle University. Mr. Dean works exclusively in Director's & Officer's Liability and Professional Liability insurance. He has worked exclusively in these markets for over 25 years. Mr Dean designs, negotiates, and tailors coverage to suit specific client needs. He has been affiliated with the agency since 1994.

The continuity and experience of our staff provide the stability and knowledge required to maintain effective, personalized business relationships, both with our clients and with the insurance companies we represent. Several members of our staff have served the insurance industry for more than 30 years.
